Trekking peak in Middle of Rolwaling Region and Everest Region Phapchermo peak (6187m.) was first climbed in 1955. This is a relatively attractive snow peak, which lies due south of Tashi Lapcha. It has a well defined north by north-west ridge rising from the crevassed glacier astride the Tashi Lapcha. To the west of the ridge the face forms a uniform snow slope broken by crevasses and seracs rising from the rocky lower buttresses above the Drolambau glacier. Access to Phapchermo is mainly the Dudha koshi valley ( From Khumbu site). Now the Dudha Koshi valley The journey Starting from Phaplu Air port , the route passes through the Sherpa villages of the Solu Khumbu, many of them having beautiful Buddhist Stupa, Monasteries and Mani. The height gain is gradual making it easier to acclimatize. After a rest day in Namche Baazar, the trail continues to famous Thame Monasteries. Its setting encircled by giant mountains has been called one of the most beautiful places on earth.
